First Impression Is The Last Impression

This quote is so powerful that in my day-to-day activities in the society I maintain in my social interaction with the people I meet them. It seems to be a part of our life which makes us a whole. One day I met a person who has been working in a private firm and accidentally use this impressive quote, “First Impression Is the Last Impression” in my conversation and to my utter surprise he refuted my quote and said that this is wrong. I was surprised to hear and eager to know what can be the reason behind his though. Then he narrated me by saying “you see in private firms if you try to impress on the first day alone you will not be working in years and ultimately you will be fired.” I challenge him by saying “I do not agree”, I have been maintaining throughout my life to the people I meet and maintain the decorum in it. He re-challenged me by giving me an example. In a corporate world, every day is your first impression and there is not the last impression.

Today, we are talking in a very semi-formal and challenges in our act of quote which we believed in it. But you and I may not be meeting together again. So, I said, “That cannot happen to every individual whose work have to see their dedication in their work.” Then he responded and said exactly, that is the reason I do not believe in, “First Impression Is The Last Impression,” rather you have to make an everyday impression.

After our conversation I started to reflect and start asking myself if we all believe in ourselves of the first impression is not the last impression what have we become? Are we giving importance to our work ethics than our moral ethics? Then what about our understanding of ourselves will it be closer from in the days to come.
